Phoenix Gold Scion FR-S is a $1,350 Surprise Stunner
Over the last few years, we've seen a lot of amazing builds featuring Phoenix Gold amps, subs and speakers. But, one show car has come to our attention lately that really sets itself apart - not because of its elaborate or massive in scope, but because of how efficient and effective it is. Just take a look for yourself...
Built by Newport Autosound for the Phoenix Gold Builders' Challenge, this 2013 Scion FR-S is the very definition of subtlety, style and sophistication. Done up in bright sunburst yellow with a black and charcoal interior, the FR-S has a streamlined, 5-channel audio system consisting entirely of Phoenix Gold Ti2-Series and is wired completely with Stinger.
The two biggest surprises - and the best testament to the quality of the build - is how extraordinarily loud and clear the sound is, and how little the Phoenix Gold gear inside it costs. In fact, when the vehicle was shown during the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, a Phoenix Gold dealer from Louisiana said, "Wow! That sounds amazing! I can't believe there's only $1,350 of Phoenix Gold product in there. It sounds like a $3,000 system." This was a sentiment shared by many of those lucky people that got to enjoy this car at CES.
